Welverdiend Private Game Reserve

Weavers loft is a beautiful lodge located on this small, yet idyllic private game reserve. It is close to the small town of Hoedspruit and is in very close proximity to the local airport; Hoedspruit airport (also known as Eastgate). It is also very close to Kruger National Park and other Big Five private reserves.

It is set in fabulous untouched South African lowveld bush and boasts stunning scenes of the Drakensberg mountain ranges. There is also a dam with resident hippos and crocs and it is abundant in birdlife and other African game species that also frequents the dam. |

 Welverdiend is home to white rhino, leopard, cheetah, hippo, crocodiles, giraffe, kudu, impala, baboon, vervet monkeys and a whole lot more. It is not Big Five country, but an ideal location to let Terry & Shirley (the owners and your guides) take you to see the Big Five in the surrounding areas. Make no mistake though Welverdiend is a lovely game reserve and you will still feel like you are in the heart of the African bush at this beautiful private lodge.
The lodge overlooks a river bed; dry in the winter and flowing in the summer, yet stunning either way. |

| Terry and Shirley Rawlings; owners of this stunning lodge will take good care of you during your stay. Both friendly people and qualified guides they can take you for both bush walks and vehicle safaris on Welverdiend private game reserve. You will be looked after during your stay, fed well and taken to see the unique landscapes and wildlife in the Lowveld area. |

You will need to fly to Johannesburg International (Now re-named OR Tambo ) .
Then to either KMIA (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport) or Hoedspruit Airport (also known as Eastgate)
You will be collected by Terry or Shirley and taken to Weavers Loft. |

Visit the quaint town Graskop, God's Window, The Pinnacle, Bourkes Luck Potholes and stunning waterfalls.

B & B at Weavers Loft - Accommodation |
You can also book accommodation only at Weavers Loft only for as many nights as you wish for £50.00 per person per night which includes; breakfast, light lunch & evening meal.

 Hire your own car or opt for the use of Terry & Shirley's 4 x 4 and complete your own itinerary. The 4 x 4 Ssang Yong can be requested at a very reasonable additional cost - it is worth requesting insurance too. This can be arranged with Terry & Shirley at Weavers Loft.
Alternatively… liaise with Terry & Shirley during your stay and pay them in local currency (South African Rand) as you organise things to do in your own time during your stay…it can make your stay very flexible |
