You
will be accommodated at
Xivambalana River Camp
nestled on the banks of
the Limpopo River and
adjacent to the greater
Tuli Game Reserve.The
camp is situated in one
of Africa’s most
untouched wilderness
areas that is home to
lion, leopard, large
herds of African
Elephant, hippopotamus,
the Nile crocodile,
giraffe, gemsbok and a
large variety of other
plains game. The camp is
unfenced, maintaining a
natural ambience with the
surroundings. The name
Xivambalana
(pronounced: she-vum-ba-larna)
is the Tsonga name for
the Emerald-spotted
Wood-Dove.
Please note that
accommodation is shared.
All rooms are
fitted with ceiling fans
and some rooms have air
conditioners as well
(please note that room
allocations requesting
the air conditioned rooms
work on a strict first
come first served basis).
All rooms have built in
cupboards so that you do
not have to live out of
your suitcase whilst on
course with us.
The
camp has the following

- Separate ladies and
gents ablution
facilities with hot and
cold running water and
flushing toilets
- Cash bar available

available (payable in
cash at the camp)
- Game drives are
conducted in an open

There is an outside
bar area where cold
drinks, alcohol and a
small range of snack
items are available for
purchase. Refreshments in
the form of tea, coffee
and water are supplied
throughout the day.
