Dear
Afreco,
Just back from the
EcoQuest
course which I would highly
recommend to anyone, it was excellent.
Pafuri is an outstanding location
Group of 15 like minded people ages
from 30 to 70, from all countries
Holland, Switzerland, Germany, South
Africa Accommodation and food were
very good Organisation was very
efficient You spend half a day walking
and the other half in the jeep ~ so if
walking in the morning it would be a 4
hour walk stopping and learning as you
go. They also have a morning lecture
and so the day is really very full I
am interested in other such projects
for 2011 and if you have any
suggestions then they would be
welcome.
Best wishes, Peter |

"Hi Adrian,
I have just come back from Paris'
airport after a long flight home. I
very much enjoyed the course at
Karongwe: spending 4 weeks in the
bush whilst striking new friendships
is an opportunity I wish everyone
could seize.
Thank you again for your help, it was
very much appreciated.
Best regards,
Cyrille"

"Hi Adrian,
I just thought I'd drop you a quick
line to let you know how the course
went.
It was an absolutely amazing
experience, the whole group (and
staff) had a fantastic time and have
become great friends.
Unfortunately I didn't pass the exam
but am speaking to FGASA to try and
organise a re-sit as I'm still in the
country til the end of the month and
the information is all still fresh. I
shall definitely be returning in the
future and do someday see South Africa
being my home...
...Many thanks for all your help along
the way and I would be more than happy
to write recommendations for your
company regarding the course
experience.
Regards
Zoe" |

The 28 day Field Guides Course at
Karongwe was a truly amazing
experience! Fantastic sightings and a
great environment for learning. Camp
facilities (especially the brilliant
food) and instructors were of a very
high standard and made for a
completely enjoyable time I would love
to repeat and would recommend to
anyone to try. |

Where to
begin? Well, the beginning would be
good! I wanted to take a trip and with
my love for animals, I looked into
animal courses abroad. I came across
Afreco and chose them because the
course was an educational one and I
love to learn! From the very first
email I sent, Adrian, my trip
organiser, was fantastic! Every query
I had he answered and helped me in
deciding to take the course. For that,
I will always be grateful, because I
had the time of my life. |

"For
anyone with an interest in the
outdoors or for those who want to
develop their skills - this course is
ideal. For me (and others on the
course) it gave me some unforgettable
experiences - even without
training to become a guide.
For me, this has created a real desire
to be back out in the African bush -
and you spend a lot of time thinking
about it when your back. Amazing! And
also a big thanks to Afreco’s Adrian
Faulkner for all the help he gave me
when I was planning my trip, he helped
me along at every step of the way and
provided an excellent service."
