Afreco Tours Ltd was
established for the budget and
adventure traveller, for people looking to embark on a safari
experience with a difference and for those wishing
to gain some more in depth knowledge
about African nature, but without the
huge costs involved in getting this
close to nature.
Afreco started by
offering
Safari Guide training courses and
other bush adventures and official
courses as an alternative way to
experience and learn about the African
bush; a different experience from the
usual safari holiday.
As our customers
have grown we have continued to offer
such courses which are becoming
increasingly popular and our
customer's testaments to their
experiences with us prove it. We
continue to offer the safari guide
training courses, game ranger
experiences, as well as
wildlife
photography workshops,
tracking courses, bush skills and
survival courses,
conservation volunteering experiences,
wildlife workshops and much more.
Partaking in a course is a great way
of seeing the African wilderness from
a completely different perspective!
Luxury /
mid-range / Tailored
We continue to look
after the budget traveller but
we now also offer top-end luxury
trips in some of the most famous
and luxurious camps and lodges in
Africa. At the same time being able to
cater for the gap year student,
sabbatical traveller to group or
couples. Afreco has evolved
quickly and established some good
relationships with some of the finest
safari and adventure companies.
We now also organise
our wildlife photography workshops in
luxury accommodation as well as in our
budget accommodation. Concession areas
on these trips are some of the best
and wildlife encounters are therefore
high! The leopards of Sabi Sands is
one example of this, but do check out
what is on offer as we often have new
and exciting trips.
Destinations for our
safaris include East Africa's vast and
wild plains of Kenya and Tanzania,
as well as Zambia, Zimbabwe, South
Africa and Namibia. Camps vary from
lodges and chalets to excellent tented
accommodation. African safari tents
are worth experiencing as they can
offer all the creature comforts of
home whilst at the same time putting
you close to nature and allowing you
to embrace the experience and
atmosphere a lot more.

We've recently progressed to cover
Safari Guide
Training in the
Australian Bush too - an
almost identical course to the African FGASA
course, which is set in
the Northern Territory of
Australia in Kakadu
National Park.

exciting wildlife courses and
adventures we can also organise
exciting outback trips in the region
for individuals, families and groups
once again catering for a variety of
budgets including the top-end luxury
market.
